As we push on into November, many businesses are putting their Christmas marketing plans into action. Here are some key events that are happening in Southport on the run up to Christmas 2017...
This year’s Southport Christmas Lights Switch-on will be taking place on Sunday 19th November 2017. Hosted by Smooth Radio it promises to be a full afternoon and evening of superb family entertainment. Southport will sparkle with festive fun. Enjoy live children's entertainment throughout the afternoon, meet Santa, enjoy attractions, stilt walkers and more. From 3pm the main live show starts with a great line up of singers throughout the evening leading to the Big Switch On at 5.30pm.
Southport town centre will be welcoming a bigger and better ice rink outside the town hall, opening on the 1st December till 1st January.
A new Christmas Market is coming to Southport this Christmas Lining Chapel Street, the Christmas market will add to the festivity of the Yuletide season.
